About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at a cannabis club in Tracy, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective conflict management skills, and the ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, enforce security protocols, and provide assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure safety and security.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary.
• Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety on the premises.
• Provide assistance in conflict management situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
• Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cannabis related security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid California Guard License.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring equipment.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques is advantageous.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Military experience may be beneficial for candidates with a background in security.
