About the position

The Security position at our healthcare facility is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The Security personnel will work closely with hospital staff to provide a secure atmosphere while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
• Enforce hospital policies and procedures regarding security and safety.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents and prepare reports as required.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in emergency situations.
• Basic knowledge of security systems and protocols.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in CPR and first aid.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding security.
