As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you’ll support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier ®. The Sovah Health Security Department is a team player whose primary mission is the safety and security for the Sovah-Health Hospital. Position will have every other weekend off.
Responsibilities
- Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
- Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises.
- Maintains knowledge of and follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans.
- Assists in facilitating planned drills and simulations.
- Conducts designated safety/security rounds.
- Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
