About the position

The Security Operation Center Analyst role is focused on developing and documenting physical security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Security Operations Center (SOC). This position is crucial for ensuring effective responses to security incidents, monitoring protocols, and compliance with established physical security standards. The analyst will work closely with various teams to create clear guidelines that enhance the security and resilience of SOC operations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Physical Security SOPs
  • Draft clear, actionable SOPs for SOC personnel to guide daily security operations, including camera monitoring, alarm response protocols, incident response, ID badge processing, and ticket processing for physical security issues.
  • Establish Physical Security Standards
  • Create and maintain standards documentation for key physical security components, including camera placement, intrusion alarms, card access systems, fencing, gates, bollards, clear zones, lighting, and key control protocols.
  • Collaboration and Review
  • Work closely with security operations managers, technical teams, and compliance officers to ensure SOPs meet organizational and regulatory standards. Periodically review and update SOPs to align with emerging security threats and technology updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in physical security, SOC operations, or SOP documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with security systems and technology.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
