About the position

The Senior Business Intelligence Specialist plays a crucial role in the MerchOps Business Intelligence team, focusing on supporting the Merchandising organization's objectives through effective data solutions and analytics. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional partners and IT teams to develop and deploy solutions that enhance visibility and processes in areas such as Inventory Management, Forecasting & Replenishment, Order Management, and Product Disposition.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across the enterprise to address solutions and dependencies comprehensively.
• Act as a liaison between the business and technology teams to understand key merchandising and BI applications.
• Gather requirements, develop, test, and deploy solutions to improve visibility and processes in Merchandising.
• Partner with MerchOps BI leadership to prioritize project requests, enhancements, and ad-hoc requests.
• Participate in team training and skill development in GCP, Python, and Power BI.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data solutions and analytics.
• Proficiency in HANA, Oracle, and SQL Server databases.
• Experience with front-end tools such as Tableau and WEBI.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence language tools for job description enhancement.
