About the position

The Senior LinkedIn Strategist will play a pivotal role in a new consultancy focused on social media advertising, specifically leveraging LinkedIn for B2B clients. This position involves creating and executing high-performing LinkedIn strategies, managing client relationships, and driving results through innovative advertising campaigns. The role is integral to the LinkedIn media team and offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing specialty agency within Directive.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts
  • Serve as direct support to client contacts
  • Communicate weekly with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks and work quality
  • Build strategies for clients each quarter
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
  • Provide fractional support for internal marketing
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Confirm lead routing accuracy within a CRM
  • Ensure personal productivity and utilization
  • Work directly with Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
  • Drive cross-sells, upsells, and referrals via client relationships
  • Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting and targeting

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience working at a performance/digital marketing agency (bonus for B2B)
  • Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
  • Understanding of different Ad Units within the LinkedIn Platform
  • Proficiency in advertising platforms and tools such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense
  • Ability to delegate to junior team members
  • Strong understanding of Paid principles, including keyword research and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance data using tools like Google Analytics and Excel
  • Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Ability to translate and articulate strategy and tell stories with data
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with programmatic advertising
