About the position

The Senior Manager for the Office of Administrative Systems Transformation Reporting and Analytics (OAST R&A) at Mayo Clinic is responsible for leading the development and execution of project plans and strategies that support Human Resources and Workforce Management initiatives. This role focuses on managing data reporting and analytics through Oracle and UKG platforms, ensuring high-quality deliverables while fostering teamwork and collaboration among team members. The position requires a strong understanding of data analytics processes and the ability to guide teams through all stages of analytics projects, from business understanding to deployment and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute project plans and strategies for OAST R&A in support of HR and WFM.
  • Manage key data reporting and analytics via OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle analytics fusion data intelligence product.
  • Lead and direct data reporting and analytics needs through all project stages including business understanding, data acquisition, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure high-quality completion of assigned work within required timeframes.
  • Direct team activities to encourage teamwork and motivate team members.
  • Maintain and enhance existing platforms, including design decisions and process standardization.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with various stakeholders including the Director and Domain Leaders.
  • Lead design activities, requirements analysis, documentation, and system setup.
  • Manage and coach team members, ensuring effective communication and change management.
  • Identify potential risks to scope, budget, and timeline, and provide routine status updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience or an Associate degree with 7 years of experience.
  • Experience leading technical teams utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence tools and/or UKG Analytics.
  • Ability to support decision making and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional understanding of Mayo Clinic's institutional knowledge.
  • Previous project or program management experience is preferred.

  • Ability to envision innovative ways to transform business processes and systems.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence platform.
