About the position

At Schwab, you're empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together. We're hiring for an exciting opportunity within Schwab's Workplace Marketing organization, on the Foundational Participant Marketing team. Our organization is responsible for activating all Schwab offers to meet the needs of Workplace (retirement and stock plan) sponsors and participants, to become their primary financial partner of choice. Foundational Participant Marketing helps turn workplace (retirement and stock plan) benefits into something people understand, value, and use. We strip away the jargon and create engaging experiences that people connect with—helping them make the most of what they've earned so they can invest wisely, live better, and retire well. When we do our jobs well, good things happen. More people make the most of their retirement and equity plans. More are engaged at work. And more see Schwab as a trusted partner in their financial life. The Sr. Manager, Integrated Marketing is a high-impact, highly visible individual contributor responsible for developing and delivering marketing and communication programs that address Workplace participants' financial needs and goals. By helping Schwab deliver on our “Through Clients' Eyes” approach, you'll contribute to both positive participant outcomes and organizational growth goals. Along the way, you'll work with partners across other marketing teams, strategy, product management, client experience, digital, and creative agencies.

  • Proactively and autonomously managing set of large, complex initiatives to completion in a matrixed, highly collaborative, high-change environment.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and leaders at all levels of the organization and across different disciplines, to gain alignment and buy-in on marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of marketing or agency experience, preferably in financial services or another highly regulated industry, with a proven track record of leading integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience across the full promotional mix, including digital, content, email, video, social, and paid media.
  • Data-curious with a strong analytical mindset, highly proficient in using marketing data, insights, and A/B testing to optimize campaigns and influence strategic decisions to help drive participant outcomes.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and agency relationships.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strategic thinker who balances data to inform decisions with creativity.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, effective change agent who can thoughtfully champion new ideas, and coach partners to recognize the benefits and adopt change for themselves.
  • Relentlessly curious, never satisfied with the status quo, seeks and implements recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments, with a bias towards action and continuous improvement.
