About the position

This role is based in central New York, NY. We’re part of Informa, a global business with a network of trusted brands in specialist markets across more than 30 countries, and a member of the FTSE 100. We run around 800 events each year, create digital platforms based on engaging news and information content, and operate professional development programmes for individuals and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Create and run powerful marketing campaigns that turn interested people into paying delegates.
  • Craft winning campaigns that drive registrations and revenue for our events.
  • Take charge of digital channels including email, social media, search, and display advertising.
  • Develop marketing programs that directly contribute to our commercial goals.
  • Build targeted audience segments to deliver personalized marketing at the right time.
  • Create persuasive content for landing pages, emails, and advertising.
  • Manage media partnerships to extend our reach and visibility.
  • Support our sales team with insights and tools to develop their pipeline.
  • Own our marketing data strategy while ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Track performance and optimize campaigns based on what works.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members or external agencies.

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B event marketing with a focus on digital campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience managing email, paid social, display, and other digital channels.
  • Strong copywriting skills that convert leads into customers.
  • Experience with marketing tools like Eloqua, Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo.
  • Confidence in managing marketing databases while ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Ability to report on marketing performance and optimize based on data.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work across different teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience planning and running paid media campaigns on LinkedIn and Google.
  • Understanding of customer journeys and funnel mapping.
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools.
  • Previous experience managing or mentoring others.
