About the position

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer with a passion for building cross-product, platform features. Specifically, you’ll lead the design of our Teams features across all Datadog products. You will engage with customers to learn their needs and pain points, collaborate with other designers to integrate your solutions with their user workflows, and work together with product managers and engineers to craft the design of an impactful feature. You’ll be part of the Platform Design Team which is responsible for providing enabling experiences across the whole Datadog product through shared core functionality. We maintain high level concepts like organizations, teams, identity, governance, and access controls that shape the user experience across the product. The experiences and interfaces we design get used by customers, internal teams, as well as our partner product design teams. At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to understand how your designs will be built and Q/A them before we ship
  • Communicate both your design work and the support for your design decisions across the company
  • Be the expert in your product area and collaborate cross-functional partners to drive the roadmap and vision

  • Ability to give and receive feedback well, supporting and improving the work of colleagues

Benefits

  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (ESPP)
  • Continuous professional development, product training, and career pathing
  • Intradepartmental mentor and buddy program for in-house networking

  • Access to Inclusion Talks, our internal panel discussions
  • Free, global mental health benefits for employees and dependents age 6+
  • Competitive global benefits
