About the position

Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, the Senior Product Line Manager role at Chromalloy Material Solutions is a key position on our asset management team. This role holds end-to-end accountability for the commercial performance and technical stewardship of an assigned engine product line, driving full lifecycle profitability for CMS.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial performance of the assigned engine product line by owning and optimizing detailed asset valuation models, determine market-responsive pricing strategies for USM (Used Serviceable Material) parts, and supporting engine trading and build operations with real-time asset insights and inventory planning.
  • Develop and implement innovative, data-driven strategies to enhance return on investment for engine assets.
  • Maintain deep technical and market expertise across the assigned engine platforms. Monitor and assess the impact of factors such as service bulletins (SBs), airworthiness directives (ADs), repair developments, workscope planning, and lifecycle trends on asset valuation and commercial planning.
  • Collaborate closely with the USM sales team to continuously evaluate and recalibrate part pricing in alignment with current market conditions, inventory velocity, and profitability targets.
  • Own and enhance comprehensive valuation models that incorporate current part configuration, SB/AD compliance, life-limited part (LLP) status, remaining cycles, projected repair costs, material yield assumptions, and real-time fair market value estimates.
  • Oversee full lifecycle profitability of assigned assets by conducting structured lot reviews and variance analyses. Continuously track actual performance against modeled forecasts and execute strategic adjustments to ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Partner with engine build teams to determine the most cost-effective overhaul workscopes and material selection, balancing turnaround (TAT), technical feasibility, and cost efficiency to support optimal build outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant engine experience in at least one of PW4000, CF6-80C2, V2500 or CFM56 engine product lines. Preferably to include time with an engine OEM, MRO facility or operator.
  • Working knowledge of Quantum and lot accounting.
  • Prior experience with engine product line management.
  • Experience managing engine or component maintenance agreements.
  • Experience developing engine overhaul workscopes.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office with strength in excel modeling.
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time for customer visits and industry events.
