About the position

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and delivering products and services that enable users across the Services, Agencies, and Fourth Estate to securely communicate and collaborate. Your responsibilities will span strategic vision, product development, stakeholder engagement, and technical execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for multiple products with a focus on customer and business impact, in alignment with the company's overall strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers and engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business value, using agile methodologies.
  • Define and prioritize product features and user stories based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business objectives, while balancing technical feasibility, resource constraints, and time-to-market considerations.
  • Manage product backlogs and sprint planning, ensuring that development teams are working on the highest-priority features and that product increments are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Evangelize products internally and externally, building relationships with stakeholders, customers, and partners to gather feedback and ensure alignment with their needs and expectations.
  • Monitor product performance and metrics, leveraging data and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the product's value proposition, user experience, and engagement.
  • Understand the functionality and interoperability of various cloud components, security monitoring tools, and CI/CD automation tools.
  • Coordinate with internal agencies and external communities to identify knowledge gaps, design development plans, and execute technical projects.
  • Support test planning, review, and execution efforts to measure and verify system performance and capabilities.
  • Strategically assess the customer's vision and needs to seek opportunities to influence and improve service delivery quality.
  • Coordinate activities with IT portfolio managers, policy leads, resource managers, and program managers.
  • Capture, document, and present analysis process, findings, and project statuses to decision makers.
  • Assist the PMO leadership in contingency operations planning.
  • With engineer assistance, review/approve applicable documentation needed to approve the new functionality for use in a production environment.
  • Understand system security requirements and facilitate the security approval process.
  • Facilitate all agile processes for the team, including sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
  • Facilitate Government acceptance by developing story acceptance criteria and facilitating demonstrations to ensure proper Government acceptance of finished work.
  • Perform other duties as assigned/requested by PMO leadership.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Program/Project Management, Information Systems, Business Management, or another related field
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in product management and/or project management, with a focus on systems engineering and software development lifecycles.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and working with government stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to exhibit professionalism and diplomacy
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools such as Atlassian Jira.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with SharePoint for reporting metrics and statuses
