About the position

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our athenaCollector team. In athenaCollector we build technology solutions that automate (RCM) Revenue Cycle Management. This Collector team is implementing the underlying medical back-office processes to automate and integrate the unique claims cycle requirements. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining our software applications. You will utilize your expertise in Java, Spring Boot, ReactJS, AWS, Agile methodologies, and your ability to work collaboratively as a team player to contribute to the development of scalable and reliable micro and macro services.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop code on an Agile team of Engineers, a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, an Architect, and an Experience Designer.
  • Collaborate inclusively with cross-functional team members to promote productivity and effectiveness; take ownership of what you build and coordinate efforts across the teams to ensure the team completes its objectives.
  • Develop knowledge to act as a domain expert; share business and technical insights with the broader engineering and product organization.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of engineering experience in a product development organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Java full stack development.
  • Extensive experience with Spring Boot framework, PostgreSQL, AWS EC2, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GraphQL, Camunda or similar technology is desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with ReactJS.
