We work remotely first (from Central & Eastern Europe), but we are more than happy to meet you in our nice offices in Bratislava, Brno or Prague. Responsibilities
- Develop a data pipeline processing a large amount of data reliably and at a high rate using Python, Go, MongoDB, GCP and more.
- Improve the efficiency of workers, improve monitoring or help with autoscaling of infrastructure.
- Enhance the throughput and reliability of data imports, handling millions of rows of data.
- Implement integration with other data storage solutions.
- Export data from the platform to Google’s BigQuery using Google’s DataFlows, PySpark and Apache Beam.
- Run and support services in production handling high-volume traffic using Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
- Review code of peers and participate in code reviews.
- Participate in on-call rotation to keep services up and running.
Requirements
- Experience with Python and a solid grasp of engineering practices.
- Experience with Go is a big advantage.
- Experience with ETL pipelines, including data cleanup, sanitization, and transformations.
- Ability to work in a remote-first environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
