Mission Technologies’ Global Security (GS) group comprises live, virtual, constructive (LVC) solutions; fleet sustainment; nuclear and environmental; and Australia business. As a trusted partner to our military customers, HII designs, develops and operates the largest LVC enterprise that prepares warfighters for cross-domain battle. Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate simulation frameworks, performance models, threat models, and command & control (C2) systems
- Design software that replicates user and system behaviors to test real-world scenarios virtually
- Create intuitive graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and interactive visualization tools
- Model dynamic operational environments and conduct trade studies using simulation-based evaluations
- Provide analytical support for decision-making across alternative system architectures
- Perform in-depth operational and mission effectiveness analysis
- Build and refine training models for immersive instructional experiences
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 9 years relevant experience
- Master’s degree with 7 years relevant experience
- PhD or Juris Doctorate with 4 years relevant experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 13 years relevant experience
- Strong grasp of user experience design, information architecture, and accessibility standards
- Proven problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail in fast-paced, agile environments
- Proficient in C++, Python, and CMake
- U.S. Citizenship and must have Top-Secret clearance
Nice-to-haves
- Proficiency in C#, AFSIM and Python desired
- Experience in US and Allied space enterprise position
- Three (3) years of software development project management experience
- Experience in deploying software and obtaining authorities to operate on SIPRNet
