Our team's Market Data middleware solutions have serviced client requests for Bloomberg's financial data for the last twenty-five years, for everything from Enterprise trading applications to the Bloomberg Excel plug-ins. Our software is a critical, client and internal-facing component of the Real-time Data platform, handling billions of requests daily. Our mission is to improve the speed, reliability, and breadth of our market data offerings to support the growth of our data businesses. We are building a reliable, scalable, and performant system where individual services can be independently developed, tested, deployed, monitored and observed. We want to eliminate the operational effort involved in inspecting and troubleshooting the data delivered by our system and enable our customer service teams to troubleshoot without needing our engineers' help. Each of our C++20 microservices is paired with robust unit, integration, and system tests delivering us greatly improved observability - including the ability to trace every downstream service request and response and store this data so we can instantly retrieve and, if needed, debug any client request made in the last month. Our team consists of ten engineers whose range of experience is one to twenty-six years. We're looking for passionate, adaptable infrastructure developers who want to expand their expertise in business-critical application infrastructure, and be stewards of a carefully-designed and expansive codebase.
