Our team Azure Service Fabric is a highly decentralized runtime and a platform that abstracts and solves some of the hardest distributed systems problems, like failure detection, leader election, and replicated state machines that are fundamental to building hyper-scale, reliable, and available systems in Azure Core and many critical Azure services. As a Senior Software Engineer in Azure Service Fabric team, you will be designing and delivering cutting-edge, cloud-scale distributed systems software that enables fault-tolerance, self-managing and cloud scale capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver cloud-scale distributed systems software.
- Enable fault-tolerance and self-managing capabilities in software.
- Solve distributed systems problems such as failure detection and leader election.
Requirements
- Experience in software engineering with a focus on distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of cloud technology and infrastructure.
- Ability to design and implement scalable software solutions.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Azure services and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with decentralized runtime systems.
- Knowledge of replicated state machines.
