About the position

Skillz is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in designing user-centered digital products, particularly within gaming or mobile applications. You will be responsible for conducting UX research, creating intuitive UI designs, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative and visually engaging experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, with a portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of user behavior and the ability to craft seamless, user-friendly interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct UX research to inform design decisions.
• Create intuitive UI designs for mobile applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams.
• Deliver innovative and visually engaging user experiences.

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• 4+ years of B2C experience.
• Previous experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers.
• Proficient in design tools: Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
