About the position

We are seeking an eager to learn and flexible server to join our dynamic team in a casual dine-in sushi restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, an eye for detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional guest service. As a server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food and beverage orders are handled efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome and seat guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to food safety and handling standards.
• Serve food while bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that the dining area is well-organized.
• Prepare to-go orders while maintaining a positive dine-in experience.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, including specials and promotions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to enhance their experience.
