About the position

The Service Leader at Chipotle is responsible for ensuring a positive customer experience by overseeing food quality, safety, and crew training. This role involves maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, managing crew schedules, and assisting with administrative tasks. The Service Leader plays a crucial role in upholding Chipotle's standards and values while fostering a supportive atmosphere for both customers and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Making sure great tasting, high quality food is served
  • Helping to resolve food quality issues
  • Supporting food safety, including monitoring hand washing, glove changes, time and temperature on the line, and ensuring compliance with food safety policies
  • Helping to resolve customer incidents and ensuring positive customer experiences
  • Monitoring crew breaks, shift changes, and line schedules
  • Developing and cross-training front of house Crew
  • Assisting with Crew performance reviews
  • Developing future Service Leaders
  • Assisting with miscellaneous office administration duties such as banking and cash handling
  • Ensuring office equipment remains in working order and ordering office supplies as necessary
  • Ensuring the proper quantity of supplies are available as needed

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge and experience of cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and health department matters
  • Familiarity with office paperwork
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
  • High school diploma
  • Restaurant experience
