We're on the lookout for a Site Supervisor to lead our After School Program for the 2025-2026 school year at Currier Memorial School in Danby, VT.

Responsibilities

  • Direct hands-on activities following our Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering everything from fitness to STEAM, academic adventures, artsy creations, and more.
  • Create a safe, healthy, and mega-fun environment where kids can thrive.
  • Be the ultimate role model for the children.
  • Assist the Site Director with management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.
  • Act as the designated person in charge when the Site Director is not on site.
  • Provide continual communication with parents and family members via the Playground App.
  • Follow OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school's rules.
  • Regularly meet with the Director to make decisions, solve problems, and strategize on immediate issues.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent; and two years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
  • A School-age Child Care Credential or other Office recognized credential specific to the school-age developmental period, and one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
  • Associate’s degree in child development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field.
  • Medically fit to perform job duties and free of any communicable diseases including TB.
  • Exceptional people skills with children, parents, and team members.
  • Professional, reliable, and always prompt.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.) as needed.
