About the position

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Manager Data Engineering specializing in Snowflake Platform Architecture. This role involves leading the development of global Snowflake platforms to drive significant business outcomes for enterprise clients. The position focuses on translating client needs into innovative data solutions, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to facilitate digital transformation for major brands.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Snowflake global platform lead as part of large digital transformation journeys
• Advance the application of Snowflake data platforms as a core building block to enable true business transformation
• Lead Data Migration projects to Snowflake
• Build complex data ingestion and pipelines on Snowflake
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into technology solutions
• Provide expertise as a technical resource to solve complex business issues related to data integration and Snowflake systems designs
• Shape opportunities and create execution approaches throughout the lifecycle of client engagements
• Ensure all deliverables are of high quality by setting development standards, adhering to the standards, and participating in code reviews
• Mentor, support, and manage team members

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Snowflake's architecture, including compute, storage, and clustering concepts with hands-on experience of 5+ years
• Experience building Snowflake as a global platform across multiple regions supporting various Lines of Business
• Expertise in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowpipe, implementing stored procedures, and standard DWH and ETL concepts
• Expertise in Snowflake core concepts like resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse, query performance tuning, Zero copy clone, and time travel
• Deep understanding of AWS (or Azure) cloud essentials including Storage, Networking, Identity and Access Management, and Data Security
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines to automate Snowflake deployments
• Familiarity with Terraform scripts
• Experience with Snowpark and Snowflake Cortex AI
• Snowpro Core certification required, Snowpro Advanced preferred
