As our Controls Engineer, you will report to the Controls Manager.

  • Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system.
  • Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation as needed.
  • Travel to install site for install and runoffs with customer when applicable and necessary.
  • Work with R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support.
  • Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test.
  • Support Field service with remote and onsite technical support.
  • Work on continuous improvement activities to improve product performance, cost and standardization.
  • Commitment to safety, understand risks, safety training, reports and document incidents as required.
  • Ability to interact with company personnel, customers and vendors while representing company in a professional manner.
  • Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to solve problems and develop solutions for customers.
  • Integrate Bevcorp equipment with existing machinery in the field.
  • Is a controls engineering subject matter expert.
  • 3 years experience with Allen Bradley and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • BSEE or BSEET is required.
  • Packaging or food & beverage experience preferred.
