About the position

The AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring that the cloud remains operational and secure. This role involves developing new AWS services that enhance customer protection against evolving threats, working with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to deliver high-quality software and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop services that defend against malicious requests and bad actors.
• Research, innovate, and create unique solutions for complex problems.
• Interact with customers to gather requirements and design products.
• Implement, test, and support products operationally.
• Contribute to the continued development and enhancement of Network Firewall.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
