About the position
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Build and support critical infrastructural systems and frameworks, provide and support services like structured and unstructured storage, caching, queueing and searching. Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain Big Data applications. Perform code reviews and write JUnits (Java unit testing frameworks). Work with cross functional teams to gather requirements for Big Data applications. Provide performance tuning for Big Data applications. Apply algorithmic techniques to ensure quick run times for applications. Build Big Data applications to process Petabytes of Data for Privacy and Compliance efforts. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,534 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Requirements
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with Core Java.
- 1 year of experience with Scala.
- 1 year of experience with Apache Spark.
- 1 year of experience with SQL.
- 1 year of experience with Python.
- 1 year of experience with Distributed Systems.
- 1 year of experience with Cloud Storage and Compute.
