About the position
Sweetwater, the nation's #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire a Software Engineer to our growing Engineering team! As a member of Software Engineering, you will build and support cutting-edge software solutions, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role is centered around our CRM platform, which our expert sales engineers use to foster relationships with our millions of customers. Responsibilities
- Work with a diverse, expert team of engineers to build the next generation of our best-in-class CRM, backend integrations, and internal tools
- Build scalable, testable, and reusable code
- Solve complex performance and architectural challenges
- Own the development of features from concept to production
Requirements
- 3-5 years of professional software programming experience
- Experience working with relational databases like MySQL, Postgres or SQL Server and the ability to write performant SQL queries
- Deep knowledge and experience in coding back-end programming languages like C#, Java, PHP, or others
- Fluency with Git or other version control software
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with engineering CRM platforms like Sales Force or Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be a plus
- Experience programming in the 4D platform would be a plus
