About the position
U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Software Engineer - Digital Measurement & Content Platform (Multiple openings) in Atlanta, GA. The position involves creating and maintaining multiple applications in a micro-services architecture, including the customer online banking experience, mobile applications, and new functionalities for bankers' platforms. Applications include Stop Payments for check, ACH credit and debit cards, Reset Debit Card PIN, Manage Debit Card spending and ATM withdrawal limits, E-Documents Dashboard, order foreign currencies, View estimated Service Center wait time and request Service Center callback, Fixed Rates Options tool for HELOC accounts, Digital KYC outreach, and View Transactions Limits. The role also includes working on technological and architectural enhancements, collaborating with UI/UX teams, and developing software solutions following WCAG 2.1 and agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain multiple applications in the micro-services architecture.
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams during the design phase of projects.
- Identify potential Accessibility issues from UI/UX designs.
- Collaborate with DevOps team to configure Jenkins pipeline and set up quality assurance checks.
- Develop software solutions following WCAG 2.1, functional development, automation testing, and agile methodologies.
- Perform product support and bug fixes, code configuration and release management, and unit testing or integration testing.
- Mentor a team of junior software engineers.
Requirements
- 4 years' related experience as a software developer.
- 24 months of experience implementing software solutions using web technologies.
- 24 months of experience mentoring junior developers.
- 24 months of experience assisting in designing architecture of solutions using third-party APIs.
- 12 months experience working in the financial services or banking industry.
- 12 months experience with product support and bug fixes, code configuration and release management.
- 12 months experience using ReactJs, Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS, AWS, Stripe API, ClamAV, Blackduck, Fortify, AppDynamics, Aegis, and Jenkins.
