About the position

Imprint is building a next-generation co-branded credit card company to serve America's great brands. Some of our partners include H-E-B, Turkish Airlines, Brooks Brothers, and Eddie Bauer. Imprint is backed by Kleiner Perkins, Thrive Capital, and Affirm. We are focused on building a brilliant team who want to change payments and who embody Imprint's Operating Principles. The mission of the Approvability team is to leverage cutting-edge technologies to build the simplest, quickest and most flexible credit signup process in the entire industry putting customer experience first while making seamless, secure, and scalable services.

Responsibilities

  • Build features that directly affect Cardholder experience
  • Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes
  • Contribute in the architecture design and implementation of new user-facing features in Imprint's products
  • Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale
  • Work closely with the product and design team to craft a perfect experience for our customers
  • Work with technologies such as React and React Native, Typescript, Node.JS, AWS

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software development experience building scalable consumer facing features leveraging JavaScript and React.js
  • 1+ years of experience with Full Stack development using Golang, Node.Js, Java, or Python
  • Track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive

  • Experience in building payments-related products
  • Open-source project experiences
  • Mobile development experience
