Software Engineer (Full Stack)

About the position

We are looking for a skilled, hands-on, full stack software engineer. This person will need to get up to speed on complex code and tax logic quickly and mostly independently. It is not a project for junior engineers or those who require a lot of direction.

Responsibilities

• Attend all required Sprint Ceremonies and related meetings
• Maintain active communication using Slack, Email and Teams
• Accurately report hours
• Report work completed on a weekly basis
• Define tickets in order to accomplish product roadmap goals
• Commit to scope of work accomplished in 2-week sprints
• Work transparently and work with team/stakeholders/internal dependents to solve impediments
• Take on front-end work as required

Requirements

• Comfortable, if not necessarily expert, with Java/Spring Boot
• Solid fundamental front-end skills: HTML/CSS/DOM without necessarily relying on a framework like React
