About the position
As a Software Engineer II - Azure Storage in the Storage Infrastructure team, you will design and develop solutions to onboard new hardware accelerators, processors, transports, and cluster level performance improvements to enable industry leading transactions rates and network throughput. You will collaborate with organizations across Research, Storage, Compute, and more. Your work will encompass the entire software development lifecycle, including operation, scaling, training, and support.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions for onboarding new hardware accelerators.
- Implement performance improvements for processors and transports.
- Enhance cluster level performance to achieve high transaction rates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Research, Storage, and Compute.
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle from design to support.
Requirements
- Experience in software development, particularly in systems integration.
- Strong understanding of hardware accelerators and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to cloud storage solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
