To support Guardant Health's leadership in disruption of cancer treatments, the Enterprise Software team is looking for an experienced and energetic full stack software engineer to build applications, products, and APIs that reach Guardant Health's stakeholders and customers.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable Java microservices that support enterprise data delivery.
  • Implement and extend integrations with LabVantage LIMS and other internal tools.
  • Develop and maintain customer-facing RESTful APIs and backend services for data exchange.
  • Collaborate with product management to translate requirements into production features.
  • Apply best practices in code quality, testing, and architecture; contribute to ongoing technical improvements.
  • Build and maintain automated unit, integration, and regression tests as part of regular releases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of production experience with Java or similar languages (C#, Python).
  • 2+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs and enterprise data integration solutions.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, schema design, and structured data formats (XML/JSON).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with messaging systems (e.g., queues, topics, pub/sub).
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of test automation and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency with Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Kubernetes or containerized deployments.
  • Familiarity with data security and compliance in regulated environments.
  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
