As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will be an experienced member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering reliable, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic objectives.

Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Utilizing advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement

Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
Experience in C++, Linux & Shell Scripting
Minimum 3+ years of experience of working in technical work in large, complex enterprise environments, experience working in RDBMS Database & PL-SQL, ORACLE, and experience with change management procedures
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
Familiar with agile methodologies
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

Strong verbal and written communication, with an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
Solid interpersonal, negotiating, and marketing skills to work with users, senior management, and external personnel on significant matters, often requiring coordinated activity across organizational lines
Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using technology
