As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank - Digital Banking, you will be an experienced member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic objectives.

  • Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
  • Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development.
  • Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React libraries.
  • Implementing state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Context API) to handle data flow within the application.
  • Experience in creating UI/UX designs with ADA compatible.
  • Collaborate with team to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Ability to profile, optimize, and debug code to enhance the frontend user experience.
  • Proactively identifies hidden problems, patterns in data, and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture.
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
  • Formal training or certification on ReactJS concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Create developing and maintaining high-quality web applications using ReactJS libraries.
  • Create React functional components, hooks, and the component-based architecture.
  • Expertise in implementing state management solutions (e.g., Redux, Context API) to handle data flow within the application.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, or Enzyme to ensure code quality.
  • Proficiency in Git to collaborate with development teams effectively.
  • Experience in good design principles to build user-friendly and intuitive interfaces compliant with ADA.
  • Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in react web-based application in a large corporate environment.
  • Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Experience with build tools such as webpack, Babel, and other bundlers to streamline development and optimize performance.
  • Integration with APIs: Experience in working with RESTful APIs for data handling.
