We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level. As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector - Enterprise Technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

  • Design, develop, and execute testing scenarios that provide coverage of business functions
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify the solutions that meet their needs
  • Perform triage and analysis of failures in complex multi-system environments
  • Develop automation frameworks performing functional and performance testing of API Services
  • Work closely with product management, business analyst, and development resources throughout delivery of solutions
  • Collaborate cross functionality with infrastructure, support, and other software engineering teams
  • Collaborate with business users and technology partners at all levels
  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Proficient in coding in one or more languages such as Java or Golang and testing framework/plugin tools like REST Assured, Cucumber, Serenity, Selenium Web Driver, Gherkin, Jmeter, blazemeter
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of build tools like maven, ant, gradle and knowledge on databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, DB2
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Familiarity with RESTful Web Services
  • Exposure to cloud technologies
  • Experience with SOAP UI and Postman
