About the position

The Software Engineer (Integrations Technology) position is a hybrid role requiring two days a week in the Denton Texas Support Center. The essential function of this role involves developing, enhancing, debugging, supporting, maintaining, and testing software applications that support various business units. The applications may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. The engineer will participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often utilizing new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Writes new code or modifies existing code to meet requirements of company business applications.
  • Tests or debugs work to ensure functional requirements are met and that completed work is of high quality.
  • Follows company development standards specific to their team.
  • Responsible for both functional SDLC tasks and technical development in an Oracle Financials application environment.
  • Provides production support including troubleshooting problems, break fixes, and ad hoc data mining as directed by management.
  • May be on call for after-hours support.
  • Responsible for unit testing their codes and involved in the code review process.
  • Documents development work and collaborates with the team to identify areas for optimization.
  • Complies with existing documentation requirements for the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
  • 5+ years of relevant programming skills.
  • Programming language experience specific to the work group.
