Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on projects.
- Develop software that bridges the gap between the hardware running secure face authentication and the Android operating system.
- Write concurrent code to stream and process camera frames.
- Investigate and improve the latency, memory usage and battery impact of the product on resource-constrained hardware.
- Design and implement software to enable the next generation of biometric authentication.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in writing testable C++ code.
- Experience with operating systems and the Linux kernel.
- Experience with machine learning and porting reference models to hardware accelerators (e.g. TPUs).
- Experience in design patterns, dependency injection and code scalability.
- Experience in high-performance systems programming in resource constrained environments.
- Experience with developing or writing software that interacts with embedded systems.
