As part of the team, the SAP Application Engineer helps deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance systems by leveraging advanced technologies to solve complex business challenges and support strategic organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architecture review meetings and contribute to the design of scalable, reliable, secure, and high-performance enterprise solutions.
- Develop reusable and flexible technical frameworks and architectures to support future projects.
- Deliver high-quality SAP solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight timelines.
- Manage multiple tasks and parallel initiatives with shifting priorities.
- Proactively explore and adopt new technologies and development frameworks.
- Learn quickly and apply new knowledge effectively in practical scenarios.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and drive issue resolution across teams.
- Maintain a self-motivated, detail-oriented approach with sensitivity to schedules and scope.
- Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.
- Work seamlessly with distributed, multi-regional teams across different time zones.
Requirements
- 4 years of in-depth ABAP development experience in RICEFW, OData service, REST/SOAP-based API design and integration.
- 4 years of in-depth experience working with S/4 HANA, CDS views, AMDP, and RAP.
- 4 years of experience in performance tuning of HANA models.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-haves
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a developer-at-heart attitude.
- Knowledge of software engineering practices and standard methodologies for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
- Knowledge of SAP technologies/frameworks such as SAPUI5, Fiori, and CAP.
- Knowledge of the SAP Business Technology Platform and Services.
