SealingTech is looking is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our product development team to help build the next generation of AI-powered applications for defensive cyber operations. This platform leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) and custom agents to provide an intuitive conversational interface for interacting with and commanding cyber tools. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a development team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and integration of secure software solutions. You will engage with the team and provide valuable contributions under the Agile development framework.

  • Support software development efforts including scripting, programming, integration, and documentation.
  • Assist in quality assurance activities including unit, functional, and integration testing.
  • Apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Collaborate with team members in daily standups, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
  • Work across the application's containerized architecture (FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, Redis) under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Contribute to code reviews and improve development processes.
  • Troubleshoot software issues in Linux environments and help implement fixes.
  • Document work performed and support technical demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2 years of hands-on programming experience (Familiarity with Python).
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface (CLI).
  • Foundational knowledge of software security principles (authorization, authentication, confidentiality, integrity).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
