About the position
The Enterprise Applications team is seeking a Software Engineer to help build high-visibility, enterprise capabilities that support our diverse software landscape. While this role spans full stack technologies, there is a strong emphasis on back-end development, particularly with .NET. As a key contributor to our enterprise technology platform, you'll help drive business value through modern architectures and emerging technologies. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and the creation of best-in-class experiences for our engineering community. Candidates who are located within 50 miles of a West Bend office location will work a hybrid schedule for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. Responsibilities
- .NET & REST expertise
- Microservices experience
- Familiarity with API specification and practices
- Automated unit, integration, and regression testing
- CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy and release code to the cloud
- Continuous advocacy of technical craftsmanship and preferred/best practices
- Review and oversight of peer proposals and solutions
Requirements
- Practical experience with Enterprise AI/LLM Engineering (Prompt Engineering, Semantic Kernel, MCP, RAG, etc.)
- Cloud experience (Microsoft Azure preferred)
- Event driven design (Azure Service Bus / NServiceBus)
