Azure security platform services team is responsible to ensure Azure remains most secure and resilient cloud platform with special focus on Confidential Computing. Confidential VM provisioning team plays a key role in provisioning Confidential VM's seamlessly and securely in Azure. Team works on building high quality globally available cloud services to securely provision the Confidential VM's. Team plays a critical role in shaping how VM provisioning works in Azure end to end from control plane to data plane. In addition to provisioning VM's securely team also works very closely with hypervisor team, core OS team as well as external linux distributions to bring full disk encryption capabilities in OS. You will have a great opportunity to work across the tech stack from cloud services to low level systems design to enable new cutting edge confidential VM's in Azure. We are looking for a passionate software engineer who will work with all service aspects of high throughput and multi-tenant services. You will work on cutting edge products, gain extensive experience of building and operationalizing cloud scale services, and enhance your understanding of cloud security fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Azure remains the most secure and resilient cloud platform with a focus on Confidential Computing.
- Provision Confidential VMs seamlessly and securely in Azure.
- Build high quality globally available cloud services for provisioning Confidential VMs.
- Shape how VM provisioning works in Azure from control plane to data plane.
- Collaborate closely with hypervisor team, core OS team, and external Linux distributions to implement full disk encryption capabilities.
