Software Quality Engineer Intern - Fall 2025

About the position

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Software Quality Engineer Intern in Menlo Park, CA. Test Planning and Coordination: Support in estimation, prioritization, and testing and release activities within an Agile development environment. Test Execution and Analysis: Write and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality of existing and new functionalities. Analyze test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders. Defect Management: Document, investigate, and report defects discovered during testing and beta programs. Analyze incoming issues coming in via customer care. Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Support in estimation, prioritization, and testing and release activities within an Agile development environment.
• Write and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality of existing and new functionalities.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Document, investigate, and report defects discovered during testing and beta programs.
• Analyze incoming issues coming in via customer care.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, common testing tools/test case management tools, and processes.
• Knowledge on writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Knowledge on API testing and network communication technologies including HTTP and MQTT.
• Effective communicator and a team player with a strong quality mindset.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
