About the position

Taco Bell is looking for a Marketing Analyst who comes to us as someone who is naturally curious with a passion for making data-driven decisions. Sitting as part of Marketing Insights & Analytics, this individual will be responsible for synthesizing insights on competitive performance to support cross-functional Marketing Teams in understanding the competitive landscape and making marketing decisions. This role provides a unique opportunity to impact long-term strategic marketing and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze consumer indicators and competitive results on ongoing basis (market share, trends, and drivers), synthesize and share insights across teams.
  • Become familiar with the attributes of competitive products/LTOs and the strategies used to market them- and the reasons behind the customer response.
  • Prepare quarterly category performance updates across financial performance and marketing perspectives.
  • Support translation of data into insights identifying any actions needed.
  • Collaborate regularly with cross-functional team members including Product Marketing & Brand Marketing with requests for deep dive analyses.
  • Liaison for 3rd party data partnerships

Requirements

  • BA or BS Degree; Marketing preferred.
  • 1+ years work experience; experience in food service or CPG a plus.
  • Results-oriented: you love transforming data into meaningful insights.
  • Intellectually curious: you love to understand the 'why.'
  • Critical thinker: you like to challenge the status quo.
  • May not be a data expert but will need to be comfortable with quantitative analysis from a mid-high level.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strength in communication skills, with ability to partner well with other team members and the ability to discuss data in a simple/easy to understand manner.
