About the position

The Senior Manager, Strategic Partnerships at DaVita Venture Group is responsible for developing and executing partnership strategies that enhance care delivery for patients with kidney disease. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders, conducting market research, and managing financial modeling to support strategic decisions. The position is hybrid, based in Denver, CO, and requires a creative and driven professional with a strong background in healthcare and strategic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the identification and assessment of potential strategic partnerships that align with the company's objectives, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Engage patients, physicians, and other key stakeholders to understand the customer perspective.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to test core assumptions and develop partnership theses.
  • Make recommendations to leadership on external investment and partnership opportunities supported by research on market trends, competitive landscape, reimbursement, regulatory considerations, and other indicators of business viability.
  • Lead the development of a broad range of financial and valuation models, including sourcing data inputs & assumptions across a broad range of primary / secondary resources.
  • Track and analyze partnership performance metrics to evaluate success and inform future strategic decisions.
  • Direct line management and development of analyst team with responsibility for their ongoing professional development, training, and performance management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, stakeholders, and industry leaders to foster collaboration and mutual benefit.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to align partnership initiatives with business objectives and ensure successful execution.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate finance, or a related field, preferably in healthcare.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with the clinical, operational, and financial drivers that impact decision-making in a healthcare organization.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, including mastery in the application of a range of financial modeling and business valuation methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and deliver organizational objectives through immediate team of direct reports.
  • Intellectually curious mindset and passion for developing novel partnership strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented workstyle and resourceful problem-solver.
  • Capability and desire to build strong internal / external network within the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, prioritize across multiple initiatives, and navigate change / ambiguity effectively and with professional maturity.
