About the position

Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Marketing Coordinator for pursuit, proposal and business development efforts for our MEPS South team based in our Birmingham, AL or Nashville TN office. Our MEPS South marketing leads and supports strategic pursuits for a geographically dispersed team throughout Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee and collaborates with other marketers to develop strategy and submit winning proposals to our targeted clients. Responsibilities

  • Work in tandem with client managers and technical leads to determine go/no-go decisions, pursuit win strategies, craft sales messages, manage the proposal process, and develop proposal responses.
  • Support multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.
  • Develop quality proposal responses both collaboratively with pursuit managers and subject matter experts.
  • Responsible for full life cycle of the proposal preparation process, including state and local proposals, SF330's, design-build proposals, qualification packages, and oral presentations.
  • Comply with corporate standards to present a consistent appearance/style for all presentation graphics, proposals, resumes, and collateral materials.
  • Adhere to QA/QC process.
  • Write supporting sales materials including project descriptions, resumes, overviews, and executive summaries.
  • Lead kick-off meetings.
  • Support Client Managers in market research, competitor analysis, and client intelligence.
  • Manage multiple proposal efforts and teams simultaneously within diverse markets and service offerings.
  • Prepare and create marketing collateral including OnePagers, leave behinds, and other marketing materials.
  • Support development and submission of awards entries.
  • Manage event planning for a variety of conferences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Graphics or related field required.
  • 6+ years' experience personally producing proposals and managing proposal efforts in the A/E/C industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud desktop publishing applications (InDesign & Acrobat Pro).
  • Extensive computer software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook & Teams).
  • Knowledge of database/CRM systems, specifically Deltek Vision, a plus.
  • Effective proposal management skills including strong attention to detail, planning, organization, problem identification and resolution, and resource management skills.
  • Must be flexible, self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple tasks, coordinate shifting priorities, respond to short-term deadlines, and carry a diverse workload with tight timelines.
  • Must be available to work overtime as necessary to meet business requirements.
  • Must be willing to travel to conferences and other office locations for meetings as needed.
