Responsibilities

  • Own End-to-End Design Execution: Deliver wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that provide seamless and impactful user experiences. Monitor and evaluate the user experiences post-delivery.
  • Collaborative Development: Work closely with design team members and developers to build, update, and modernize software product user interfaces using agile methodologies.
  • Conduct User Research: Plan and execute research initiatives to uncover insights, validate ideas, and inform design decisions at every stage of development such as usability testing, user interviews, survey creation, etc.
  • Translate Insights into Designs: Convert actionable insights from the design research team into low and high-fidelity mock-ups, patterns, prototypes, and development-ready specifications.
  • Feedback Loop: Share work-in-progress designs and actively engage in giving and receiving constructive critique.
  • Advocate for Design Excellence: Promote user-centered design principles across teams, fostering a culture of innovation and empathy.
  • Business Context: Understand business problems across our customer base to provide context for deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Product Design Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex user problems through UX & UI design, creating mock-ups, prototypes, and documenting interaction patterns.
  • Design Tools Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Mural, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.
  • Design Principles: Knowledge of design principles including typography, layout, imagery, color theory, and creating efficiencies in visual design workflows.
  • Collaborative Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a history of success working in cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio Presentation: Must have a portfolio showcasing previous design work.

  • Design Best Practices: Understanding of modern design thinking and design best practices, including but not limited to responsiveness and accessibility for complex B2B applications.
  • Attention to Detail: Appreciation for detail, ensuring every pixel and interaction is meticulously crafted.
  • Research Expertise: Skilled in planning, conducting, and applying user research to inform and elevate design outcomes.
  • Leadership Experience: Ability to lead design initiatives and drive strategy across complex projects.
  • Domain Knowledge: Experience with enterprise SaaS products or IT financial management is a plus.
  • Independent and Proactive: Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver exceptional results with minimal supervision.
  • Strategic Thinker: Capable of crafting a design vision that aligns with both user and business needs, while maintaining a focus on long-term impact.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship to junior designers and contribute to the growth of a collaborative and innovative design culture.
