Sr Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Champion best practices in software engineering, including design patterns, code quality, testing, and operational excellence.
• Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and innovation.
• Collaborate with principal engineers, product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to define system architecture, identify technical priorities, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Design and implement robust solutions utilizing Elasticsearch for advanced logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, and complex search functionalities.
• Lead technical discussions, drive consensus, and represent engineering in cross-functional planning and decision-making forums.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing Full Stack Java applications with enterprise solution delivery in a large-scale distributed software design environment.
• 5+ years of experience in building REST APIs, microservices, SQL, and MQ-based web services using Spring Boot.
• 5+ years of experience working on Azure applications/services.
• 5+ years of experience in Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, GIT, and other DevOps principles.
• 3+ years of experience leading software development projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams, setting project goals, monitoring progress, tracking milestones, communicating with stakeholders regarding project issues, and mentoring junior developers as needed.

• Capability to mentor junior.
• Proficient in communication across multiple levels of an organization.
• Ability to navigate technical teams to support the application with new initiatives and programs.
• Experience in creating voice and/or chat applications.
• Designing and implementing complex software solutions for APIs, microservices, CI/CD, etc.
• Cloud development experience in Azure OpenShift Cloud.
• Conduct design, code, and test case peer reviews to ensure developers are building scalable solutions.
