Apple’s Vision Products Group is seeking a hands-on, seasoned QA Engineer to drive quality and help ship best-in-class applications and user experiences for visionOS.
Responsibilities
- Drive software quality for customer-facing applications and frameworks.
- Support testing of multiple features and drive quality via extensive hands-on functional testing.
- Develop test plans and user studies, bug triaging, and support design reviews.
- Communicate at a high level and dive into technical details with key partners or leaders.
- Drive communication across multiple organizations and negotiate various asks.
- Bring test cases, functional, and work through complex development cycles for multiple areas.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science/Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience.
- Excellent knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools.
- Proactive self-starter with a keen eye for details and focus on end-user experiences.
- Experience developing detailed test plans, assessing risks, filing detailed bug reports.
- Experience with video streaming technology (ie, AVC, HEVC, live streaming encoders).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive cross-functional communications and understand dependencies.
Nice-to-haves
- Hands-on experience working with AR/VR products and ecosystems.
- Experience with testing consumer electronics, mobile/console applications.
- Knowledge of Apple Platform development using Xcode, Swift, or Objective-C.
- Working knowledge of iOS/OS/WatchOS or other Apple ecosystem products.
