Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Product Management, Engineering Management, and an agile development team to deliver impactful software rapidly and iteratively
  • Provide ongoing technical leadership and mentorship to your teammates and other engineers in the organization
  • Write, test, and maintain software applications that are resilient, robust, and perform at scale
  • Work closely with business partners to incrementally deliver positive customer inspired outcomes through technology
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and optimization of code
  • Encourage and drive the implementation of industry leading engineering practice

Requirements

  • 7+ years of writing software using Agile practices to deliver high quality software addressing customer needs
  • Deep understanding of the inner workings of WordPress and how users build with it
  • PHP, JavaScript, TypeScript + the ability to quickly adapt to new software language requirements
  • Cloud technologies and services - GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience working with a remote team
  • Experience working with CI/CD, testing, deployment pipelines
