About the position

Grubhub is seeking a technically fluent Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy of merchant targeting and acquisition, enabling the selection flywheel with emphasis on top performing merchants at a hyper local level. This will also include the supporting pricing and packages to ensure merchant value. This role is critical for the scalable growth of the platform and enabling hungry diners to effectively connect with our restaurants. This role will drive the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution for how our product and business evolves to support and scale our hyper local efforts for targeting and acquisition as well as pricing packages at a national level, partnering deeply with engineering, data science and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Crafting and defining the strategy in partnership with the business for the targeting and acquisition growth.
  • Owning and executing projects with vague and complex requirements by digging into details with diverse teams to create clarity.
  • Actively seeking out opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships.
  • Engaging in stakeholder management, which involves working effectively with various levels of leadership.
  • Developing and implementing Go-to-Market strategies to ensure the outcome of development creates impact.
  • Identifying team bottlenecks and making changes to practices, processes, and tools to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital Product Management or directly adjacent roles within an Agile environment.
  • Direct experience with large-scale sales organizations, data science, onboarding funnels and CRM.
  • Data fluency and demonstrated data-driven decision-making abilities, with strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Deep technical understanding for your domain of product development.
  • Experience collaborating with C-level executives across various organizations.
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to create and maintain financial models.

  • Targeting, acquisition and pricing experience.
  • Experience with SQL using queries, reports, and dashboards.
