About the position

As a software engineer, you will work on a specific project critical to Google's needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve. With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions. Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership on high-impact projects and manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Train and deploy text classification systems, fine-tune and distill large language models (LLMs) and explore ML techniques to enhance troubleshooting accuracy.
  • Design and implement systems for collecting user feedback, processing data sources (e.g., logs, metrics, documentation), and creating high-quality datasets for ML training.
  • Analyze model performance, identify quality gaps, and propose data-driven solutions to enhance troubleshooting effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development.
  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
  • Experience with Machine Learning, System Design, and Data Analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
  • 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
  • Experience with Generative AI Agent, Problem Solving, and Collaboration.

Benefits

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
